Here's what you will need. Pattern paper, double sided cardstock works best; scalloped circle punch or regular circle (I used a 2"); brads.
First thing is to punch 10 circles:
Layer them on top of each other and make a hole for your brad.
I put them on a piece of foam to push a pin through.
Attach your small brad.
Take the first layer and scrunch it up around the brad like this:
Continue this layer by layer until you have all 10 scrunched up to look like this:
Now start opening up the layers a bit until you get the desired look.
Don't open up the inside ones because you want those to still be scrunched.
If you are wanting a more open flower put a larger brad in before you start scrunching and
you will get something that looks like this:
If you want to make smaller ones you can but you may want to reduce the amount of layers to about 7 or 8. I did a smaller here below. You can also mist them a bit to make them shine.
