I've been a bad blogger. :( Life has been crazy and there hasn't been too much creativity going on.
Here's a little bit of a journal page that I did a few weeks ago.

3 little birds
A little weekend journal painting using some Lumiere paint. I love the shimmer on this paint. The silver color and reds are the Lumiere paints and all the others are basic acrylics. I wish you could see it in person. With the shimmer it was difficult to photograph.

Never ending project.....
Do you ever have that project you start that just sits there....forever! You just stare at it over and over and think, what am I doing? Will I ever finish this? This was one of those for me. I started, stopped, re-did, threw away, threw away some more and more.
Finally, DONE!
She looks so much better in person, the colors are pastel so the photos don't come across the way I want.
Her body is cut from some old music paper and colored with Faber Castell Gelatos.
Her skirt was made using molding paste and some
Glimmer mist for color along with some Glimmer Glam for sparkle.
Her crown was made using class beads and some bling.
More Molding paste used along with a little paint for color and some stencil.

A new song...
Another Moleskine journal page to share with you today. It seems that when I have a lot on my mind I get creating to clear it away. I've done a few pieces with birds in the past week or so. Here's the first to share...
A bit of paint, ink, collage, mists and my new Crafters workshop stencil.

Crazy Monday...
I wanted to share something TOTALLY different to you today. This is so different for me. I did a really quick, 1 minute doodle face. No thought really went into this besides that I had to do it quickly without really thinking about it. I over think when creating all the time. Here is where my one minute ended.....
So, I went on and decide to do a little finger painting, of sorts. I used my Oil Pastels and my fingers to color in the picture. It's so bright, so out of the ordinary for me! Boy was I a mess when I was done. I ran out of fingers and I ended up with it all over my face do to the fact I forgot it was on my fingers, what a site!
I added a little ink splatters and some white ink after it was all colored.
Crazy Monday was my journaling....it just felt like it that day!

Weekend Art
I was lucky enough this past weekend to have pretty much the whole day to create. That doesn't happen very often, especially on the weekend. I want to share with you two of the things I did in my journal. I managed to create two other things that I'll share with you later. Sorry for the blurry photo below. The scanner was giving me issues.
Background was created with Distress inks and washed with water. Some ghost stamping was done with water to remove some color. The stamping in the background was done with Faber Castell Gelatos. The girl was drawn with a Faber Castell Pitt pen on book paper and colored in with Gelatos.
The girl below was done with Acrylic paints (fluid and regular)
Thanks for popping in today:)
